Methods
Selected explicitly reported table cells, transcribed counts and percentages into UTF-8 CSV and added category labels and provenance. Each selected value was checked against rendered source tables during October 2026 preparation: PDF pages 12, 13, 14 and 17 (printed pages 143, 144, 145 and 148). Documented normalization of malformed TUR percentage typography 72.,1 to 72.1; retained printed totals, precision and source inconsistencies.
Dataset description
A partial machine-readable compilation of 166 published aggregate table cells from the crowdsourcing and language-learning study by Ç. Hatipoğlu, N. Delibegović Džanić, E. Gajek and L. Miloshevska (2022), DOI 10.4312/slo2.0.2022.2.132-183. Includes selected counts and percentages from Tables 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b and 3, with explicit categories and source-page locators. The author list credits the original study and published results. This repository compilation contains selected aggregate results, with transcription and documentation; it does not contain unpublished respondent data.
Scope and limitations
Partial published aggregates, not original questionnaire responses or a complete replication dataset. P1 is Spring 2020; P2 is Spring 2022. Source totals 211 and 185 are not known question-specific denominators. Table 1a reports RNM total 41 while prose says 42; country male counts sum to 68 while ALL reports 69; Poland male/female counts sum to 57 while the table total is 58. Table 2a gives B1=2.8% and A2=1.4%, while prose gives 2.5% and 1.3%; the CSV retains the table values. Table 3 total 468 represents multiple-response resource mentions, not unique respondents. Blank cells are omitted; no missing categories, counts, denominators or individual records were inferred. These inconsistencies originate in the source publication and were not repaired. Consult the README and data dictionary.
