Methods
Transcribed the six nonempty country rows of source Table 1, printed page 15 (PDF page 5), into UTF-8 CSV with seven numerical fields per row. Preserved printed precision and source inconsistencies; no model recalculation, unit conversion or missing-value imputation. Independently checked all 42 numerical entries against a fresh source PDF on 9 October 2026, with zero mismatches. Source locators, a data dictionary, rights documentation and SHA-256 checksums accompany the CSV.
Dataset description
A machine-readable compilation of six country rows and 42 numerical regression entries from Table 1 in D. Capeska Bogatinoska, J. Damoska Sekuloska and A. Oncheva (2024), Relationship between FDI Inflow and Unemployment in the Case of the Former Yugoslav Republics, DOI 10.31410/balkans.jetss.2024.7.1.11-20. Includes reported intercepts, FDI coefficients, R-squared, adjusted R-squared, correlations, p-values and F-tests. The author list credits the original study and published results. This repository compilation contains published regression summaries, with transcription and documentation; it does not contain the underlying country-year observations.
Scope and limitations
Published regression summaries only. The original World Bank unemployment indicator SL.UEM.TOTL.ZS and UNCTAD FDI country-year observations for 1990–2021 are not included. Source R code, preprocessing, missingness and model diagnostics are unavailable. Table 1 does not specify coefficient units; do not infer them. Source statistical and numerical inconsistencies are preserved. These files support reuse of the reported table and do not provide an original-data replication package. A trailing blank line in the validated CSV archive is retained.
