| dc.description.abstract | There has been a steady and significant growth of necessity for digitalization of healthcare services. That can be done by implementing different Electronic Health Records systems which will increase the interoperability between health systems from different medical institutions. In this paper, we focus on the possibility of using Electronic Health Records system, which is used by healthcare providers to submit a collection of patient data in order to detect chronically ill patients in an effective and timely manner. The proposed Electronic Health Records system manages different medical data such as diagnoses, therapies, measurements and remarks, available in a digital form to authorized health care providers. The main objective of the system is to allow the patients to review their own medical records and to actively engage them in their own healthcare. A survey is created to examine the rate of satisfaction among different users of the proposed system. The obtained results from the survey satisfied our expectations and proved the efficiency of implementing Electronic Health Records System. | en_US |
